Celebrity Cellulite Doesn’t Exist? (and Photos)

There is the newly coined phrase floating around -“Celebrity Cellulite” aka Functional Cellulite.

It was coined by a well known doctor named Dr. Bissoon.  If you read the post before this one, The Cellulite Cure and Mesotherapy, you might think this is “national pick-on Dr. Bissoon day”, but I assure you, it’s not my intention.

He just happened to be in the news again in a press release titled: Well Known Cellulite Doctor Says “Jennifer Love Hewitt’s Cellulite is Not Real” on PRWeb.com.

Anyway, this new term “Celebrity Cellulite” that he coined in his book “The Cellulite Cure” is interesting.

The phrase basically means that the cellulite many of the celebrities have “really isn’t cellulite”.  It’s not considered “real” cellulite because if they were standing still, you wouldn’t be able to see it.

Now, isn’t that just how traditional doctors are?  They only like to treat, cover up or mask the problem with drugs and the like.  “Oh, you’re hurting just pop this pill.”  Not “Why are you hurting? Let’s fix that!”

They usually don’t like to get to the root of the problem or institute problem prevention…like, let’s say, a Naturopathic doctor would. 

Anyway, about that news article, it said it’s not until they are “walking, bending, twisting and sitting cross legged”…

…basically not until they move that you actually see cellulite. So, therefore, it’s not really cellulite, it’s Celebrity Cellulite aka Functional Cellulite. (There are some non-Celebrity Cellulite Photos and one non-Celebrity Cellulite Videos at the end of this post to show you what he means.)

Now, I don’t want to make celebs mad, or ruin anybody’s day, and I sure don’t want any celebrity with cellulite to be mad at me, but isn’t what Dr. Bissoon is proposing … ummm…what’s the word, _______________.  I’ll just let you fill it in for me.

Anyway, if you don’t want to call it cellulite, you don’t have to either. You can call it whatever you like, BUT when you want to slip into that bikini or wear those shorts, get naked and move around, or God forbid “cross your legs”, whatever you call it WILL show up.
