In this post I want to tell you how to lose ten pounds fast. You might be wondering why in the world would I put this info on a how to get rid of cellulite blog… but there is a reason.
Many women that arrive at this blog are looking to get rid of cellulite, but should be focusing on weight loss as a whole. Now my cellulite secrets will work regardless, because they help you lose fat, I just wanted to make a post that targeted women who specifically need to lose weight as their focus and are not just focused on cellulite.
To be completely honest, it’s pretty much the same process (except there is more emphasis on creating consistent calorie deficit & not as much on building lean muscle).
Let’s get started.
How To Lose Ten Pounds Fast
3 Day Juice Fast
If you want to lose weight the very first thing that you should do is a total body cleanse. Why? If you need to lose weight you first want to get rid of the excess waste in your body quickly so that you can lose as much weight as possible.
If you need to lose weight there is a very good chance that your digestive system is off track and this will fix it. It’s said that unhealthy processed food can sit in your colon for 5 to 20+ years. This is not good, and just doing a colon cleanse alone can help you to lose quite a bit of weight right off the bat.
Also doing a colon cleanse helps you to be able to absorb more nutrients from meals that you eat which is sooo important. This is helpful because it keeps you from overeating for no reason. See, if you don’t get all the nutrients your body needs it will regularly miss when to turn off the hunger signal… which is causing you to overeat.
A cleanse will also help you to correct or reset your metabolism which is largely “controlled” by your hypothalamus & thyroid glands. Having a high metabolism is the single greatest factor in burning more calories.
I recommend doing a 3 day juice fast of some sort. Usually involves rotating taking a teaspoon of olive oil & a 8 oz glass of prune juice to start the day… then drinking an 8oz glass of water and an 8oz glass of apple juice every 30 minutes all day, then eating as many apples as you want at 6:00 pm.
You do this for 3 days. I love this cleanse and has worked wonders for me and my wife. Before you do this do more research on the fast itself. This is the jist of it.
By the end of whatever cleanse you have chosen to do you will probably have lost 2-8 pounds and you will still be well hydrated.
How To Lose Ten Pounds Diet
Next step is to correct your diet. In order to lose weight you have to consume less calories in than you burn. If you can accomplish this you will lose weight. The more consistently that you do can repeat this combined with larger calorie deficits, the more you will lose weight over time.
With that in mind, half of the equation is calories in, which is your diet. Now, my diet suggestions aren’t like ones that you have probably had before. I don’t recommend “low fat meals”, or a protein only diet, or a tasteless diet.
For one, “low fat meals” are processed unhealthy meals. Can you lose weight, yes, but at what cost? You sacrifice health. I think that you should not only lose weight, but be in good health. Pre-packaged meals don’t allow for this. Stay away from foods that are canned, wrapped in plastic packages, or boxed. Foods that have long shelf lives are a big no no when trying to lose weight.
Do you know that you need carbs? Yes, you can cut back the carbs and should. You only need to eat enough carbs to cover your energy expenditure for the day. But you need to eat enough carbs to cover normal body functions everyday. Your body needs carbs to function properly.
If you don’t eat something that taste good, then you won’t stick with it. That is a recipe for failure right there. Eat foods that are organic, cooked at home, and taste really good. Use spices to make food flavorful. And if you want to lose ten pounds fast, then you will do this.
How To Burn More Calories
The second part of the equation is calories out. You need to burn more calories to accelerate the weight loss process and create a body that is a fat burning machine. In order to do that you need to do workouts that burn a lot of calories and build lean muscle.
Do workouts with high intensity. You should be mixing in interval running, with circuit weight lifting workouts, and some cardio. This will create a totally healthy body.
