In this post I want to tell you how to lose ten pounds fast. You might be wondering why in the world would I put this info on a how to get rid of cellulite blog… but there is a reason.

Many women that arrive at this blog are looking to get rid of cellulite, but should be focusing on weight loss as a whole. Now my cellulite secrets will work regardless because they help you lose fat, I just wanted to make a post that targeted women who specifically need to lose weight as their focus and not just cellulite.

Let’s get started.

How To Lose Ten Pounds Fast

3 Day Juice Fast

If you want to lose weight the very first thing that you should do is a total body cleanse. Why? If you need to lose weight you first want to get rid of the excess waste in your body quickly so that you can lose as much weight as possible.

If you need to lose weight there is a very good chance that your digestive system is off track and this will fix it. It’s said that unhealthy processed food can sit in your colon for 5 to 20+ years. This is not good, and just doing a colon cleanse alone can help you to lose quite a bit of weight right off the bat.

Also doing a colon cleanse helps you to be able to absorb more nutrients from meals that you eat which is sooo important. This is helpful because it keeps you from overeating for no reason. See, if you don’t get all the nutrients your body needs it won’t turn off the hunger signal causing you to overeat.

A cleanse will also help you to correct or reset your metabolism which is largely controlled by your hypothalamus & thyroid glands. Having a high metabolism is the single greatest factor in burning more calories.

I recommend doing a 3 day juice fast of some sort. Usually involves rotating a 8oz glass of water and 8oz glass of juice every 30 minutes all day, then eating as many apples as you want at 6:00 pm. You do this for 3 days. I love this cleanse and has worked wonders for me and my wife. Before you do this do more research on the fast itself. This is the jist of it.

By the end of whatever cleanse you have chosen to do you will probably have lost 3-8 pounds and be well hydrated.

How To Lose Ten Pounds Diet

Next step is to correct your diet. In order to lose weight you have to have less calories in than you do out. If you can accomplish this you will lose weight. The more that you can repeat this the more you will lose weight over time.

With that in mind, half of the equation is calories in, which is your diet. Now, my diet suggestions aren’t like ones that you have probably had before. I don’t recommend “low fat meals”, or a protein only diet, or a tasteless diet.

For one, “low fat meals” are processed unhealthy meals. Can you lose weight, yes, but at what cost? You sacrifice health. I think that you should not only lose weight, but be in good health. Pre-packaged meals don’t allow for this. Stay away from foods that are canned, wrapped in plastic packages, or boxed. Foods that have long shelf lives are a big no no when trying to lose weight.

Do you know that you need carbs? Yes, you can cut back the carbs and should. You only need to eat enough carbs to cover your energy expenditure for the day. But you need to eat enough carbs to cover normal body functions everyday. Your body need carbs to function properly.

If you don’t eat something that taste good, then you won’t stick with it. That is a recipe for failure right there. Eat foods that are organic, cooked at home, and taste really good. Use spices to make food flavorful. And if you want to lose ten pounds fast, then you will do this.

How To Burn More Calories

The second part of the equation is calories out. You need to burn more calories to accelerate the weight loss process and create a body that is a fat burning machine. In order to do that you need to do workouts that burn a lot of calories and build lean muscle.

In order to do that you need to do workouts that are of high intensity. You should be mixing in circuit workouts, with weight lifting workouts, and some cardio. This creates a totally healthy body.

If you want to know how to get rid of flab, you will learn it on this blog. Flab is a little more complex than getting rid of just fat. For one you don’t get flab until you have a good amount of surplus fat and it’s been there for awhile.

When you start to get flab you are now dealing with the fact that your skin has loosened from letting yourself have excess fat for too long. Can you get rid of flab? Sure can. But I wouldn’t let it go any longer. Time is not a good thing for flab.

How To Get Rid Of Flab

The major components of getting rid of flab are creating a calorie deficit, building lean muscle mass, rest, moisturizing your skin, and water.

So, how does all of this come together?

First you want to start to create a slight calorie deficit. It really depends on how much flab you have and your overall size. If you’re 20+ pounds overweight, then you will want to create a larger calorie deficit closer to 3,500-7,000 calories a week. If you’re petite, elderly and have flab, then your concern shouldn’t be with creating that large of a calorie deficit, but closer to just 750-1,750 calories a week.

Why is building lean muscle is so important? This is important because this is how you raise your metabolism (natural fat burning machine), smooth out your skin, and prepare your body for combating flab in the future.

Water plays a big role because it helps the skin to find it vitality and youth. It’s said that the body is about 72% remade every year. Your are over 70% water. If you want youthful looking skin, that is tight and smooth, then you will want to drink a fair share of water so that your skin isn’t dry and unhealthy.

Why rest and moisturizer and important. Rest and moisturizer help the skin to recover from the stress that it faces daily. Now be careful with the moisturizer and it can clog pores which is not good. Use a organic moisturizer every other day, except elbows, knees, around eyes, and hands which need moisture daily.

Mow most people will focus on the later part of this post rest, moisturizer, and water because they want to take the easy way out. Please don’t. Yes, I put them into this post, but the most important factors are the calorie deficit and building lean muscle mass. And of those two developing lean muscle mass is the more important. It is absolutely critical to the success of getting rid of flab.

Same as getting rid of cellulite. If you’ve study this blog for how to get rid of cellulite, you will notice that a lot of this information is the same. It’s because regardless the fight is still against fat.

Why Can’t I Get Rid Of Cellulite?

If you have been trying to get rid of cellulite, but with no success and find yourself thinking: “why can’t I get rid of my cellulite?, then you will love this short, but informative post.

First let me make sure that you are fighting the right battle.

Cellulite is caused by excess fat.

If you want to get rid of cellulite, then you have to get rid of excess fat.

If you are not doing activity or making lifestyle changes that help you get rid of fat, then you are not going to be able to get rid of your cellulite.

Why Can’t I Get Rid Of Cellulite

Now that we have gone over the basics, lets get more specific.

If you want to get rid of cellulite you have to do this:

1. Create a calorie deficit.
2. Eat enough protein to support an increase in lean muscle mass.
3. Do workouts that burn a lot of calories per amount of time worked.
4. Do exercises that build lean muscle.
5. Be consistent long enough to see results.

If you aren’t doing everything that I listed above then you aren’t going to get rid of your cellulite.

There are no magic pills, no magic surgeries, no magic creams or massages that are going to get rid of your fat.

If you aren’t losing fat, then it’s because you are probably not creating a calorie deficit while maintain lean body mass (muscle). This means that you are either eating more than you think in total calories or not burning as much calories as you think you are during your day.

Start by increasing your intensity during your workouts and also by working out a little longer. Maybe add another set to each exercise or a few extra hard minutes to your circuits.

Secondly, you need to cut back on your calories a little more. Eat a little more clean and eat foods that are cooked at home and organic. The only sides that you should have should be either soups, veggies, or fruits.

If you are still struggling then keep a food diary for 2 weeks. Right down everything that you eat. At the end of the week on progress report day (Sunday) go back and calculate the calories of those meals.

Don’t forget to write down what the meals were cooked in and any sauces or condiments that were added to them. Don’t cheat, this is only to help you get a better idea of what is going on.

You might also want to look into the 1200 calorie diet.

Start with this. Make the necessary changes and then track progress. If you see results then stick with it until those results diminish. Then kick it up a notch again. Go back look at the list above and see if you can do better in those areas. Track and measure the results again.
