Here’s exercises to get rid of love handles, that only take 10 total minutes to do, and that you only have to do 3 times per week.

The exercises that you have to do to get rid of love handles is actually quite “counter-intuitive” to what it seems like should be done. Doing sit ups & crunches (or variations of these) alone aren’t very effective in helping you to get rid of love handles.

The reason is because your body stores & burns fat where it wants to, and we have little control over when and where it does that. So, we have to put our focus on “burning fat” and let the body burn it from where it may. The goal then is to get your “body fat” percentage below 20%, while building lean ab muscle too.

Exercises To Get Rid Of Love Handles

Squat press burn out. A squat press is pretty close to what the name says. You do a squat, then holding a pair of dumbbells (or anything with weight) by your shoulders, you do a press above your head at the top of your squat. Repeat this for until you could only be able with good tempo to do one more (that’s the “burn out”). Take a 2 minute break and repeat. This is such a great exercise because it works all of your major muscles, burns a heck of a lot of fat, and even builds lean muscle in the love handle area. You only need to do this exercise 4-5 times.

Wide leg “Tip Overs”. This is a pretty cool workout that I discovered one time when I injured the muscle and ligament that runs along the underneath of my bottom rib on my left side. When I was going through rehab to strengthen the area we created this exercise. Stand up tall spread your till the inside of your feet is about 2″ on the outside of your shoulders. Then put your hands together and lift them above your head and make them straight. Now keeping your shoulders and hips parallel, “tip over” to your right, then to your left. It takes all of the muscle along your side to lower and lift your body from the tipped over position to straight. You can also do this with weight.

Burpie Jumps. Do a burpie (stand, then squat, tilt forward and go into a push-up position, then bring your knees back to your chest and stand up) then as you are coming back to a standing position from the ground, explode up and jump. Land the jump and go straight into a burpie again. This is a great workout for working all of your lower body, back, chest, and stomach. You can also do these with dumbbells.

In-Place Sprinting. This is one of the toughest and most overlooked exercises. Get your timer ready, then start running in place. Focus on getting good knee lift, working your arms, and getting your feet on and off the ground as fast as possible. This is a challenging exercise if taken seriously, and works every major muscle in the body, while burning so many calories and developing lean muscle. Run hard for 20 seconds, then break for 40 seconds. Repeat this 8 times.

The 10 Minute Workout

Now we are going to put the exercises all together in one great 10 minute workout that gets rid of love handles. What we are going to do is turn them into a circuit.

To keep it easy, we are going to do each exercise for 20 seconds, then go to the next with no rest (squat press, wide leg tip overs, burpie jumps, then in-place running). Now take a 40 second rest, and repeat. That is considered to be 1 set. We want to do 5 sets or circuits. That is exactly 10 minutes and you are done.

What must accompany the plan, a balanced diet. A balanced diet is critical to actually being successful and getting the most out of the exercises. You can workout till the cows come home, but if you don’t eat enough carbs for energy and enough protein to supplement your lean muscle developing exercises, it’s all for nothing. Your diet is critical (if for nothing else but to supplement your workouts) in getting rid of love handles, developing lean muscle, recovery, increasing metabolism, and getting rid of cellulite.

Now that you have the exercises to get rid of love handles and an exact plan to follow, you can try the workout right now. You have a few minutes because you are here reading this right now. Try it. Just get up right now and see how it goes. It’ll be fun and spontaneous and you will have the positive energy in that you have already started to work towards your goals.

What we are going to discuss in Part 8 of this How To Get Rid Of Cellulite series is sooooo very critical to the whole success of getting rid of cellulite.

This is so very critical that you understand this.

As we talked about in earlier parts of this series, the root cause of cellulite is excess fat. We also went over how to get rid of excess fat in part 6.

And you also learned that fat is the premier way that the body stores excess energy. And that if you continue to have excess energy at the end of the day (more energy or calories in than burned) then your body will continue to store it as fat.

The more fat you have the more and the larger dimples (or cellulite) you will have.

…But you would think that if you just stopped eating that you would in turn lose fat. NOT so. If you do that then the body will go into starvation mode and will start to store more fat, because it is trying to protect itself.

It will then cannibalize your bodies lean tissue in order to have enough energy to live.

So, what you really want to accomplish is to have the right type of nutrition that would aid in maintaining or increasing lean body mass while creating a consistent daily calorie deficit.

Why?

Because then you will get rid of fat, the root cause of cellulite, while maintaining your lean body mass. Lean muscle is the critical element in burning fat and getting rid of cellulite.

You would think then if one of your main goals is to maintain lean muscle then you would only have to eat lean protein. NOT so, because the body demands carbs in order to function properly. One of the main symptoms of not having enough carbs is tiredness.

Important Points from this part.

In order to get rid of cellulite, you need to maintain or increase your lean muscle, while creating a consistent calorie deficit to lose fat the root cause of cellulite. You can’t cut all carbs and fat because your body needs that to function.

Welcome back to the how to get rid of cellulite blog series.

In the previous parts we have discussed the what is cellulite and what causes cellulite.

In this part we are going to discuss more about what is fat and what cause excess fat.

Why?

Because the root cause of cellulite is excess fat. If you can win the war on fat you can win the war on cellulite.

When I say fat, I am referring to the adipose, or fatty tissue, that is stored as subcutaneous fat. That is fat that is beneath the skin, but above the skeletal muscle walls.

This is the fat that you can see and feel. This is the fat that causes the look or appearance of cellulite.

Fat is the bodies way to store excess energy over extended periods of time.

Ahhhh… there was something very important that I just said there. Fat is the bodies way to store excess energy over extended periods of time.

Why is this important?

Because if you look at that sentence in reverse, there is THE formula for getting rid of excess fat (cellulite) or not ever storing any in the first place.

There is one way to take in energy… through the nutrition that you take in or consume. Basically what you eat. If you take in to much energy consistently over a period of time that you don’t burn off you will consistently store more fat.

The major adjustment you can make is to stay away from foods that are high in energy per serving.

I am glad that are a number of ways to burn energy so you never have to store excess energy (which will turn to fat) ever again. The major ways that your body burns off excess energy is through metabolism, digestion, and physical activity.

Remember that excess energy will be stored as fat on your body.

In the next post we will talk about burning fat (getting rid of fat) that you have already stored (aka: getting rid of cellulite)… hint it’s very very important to build lean muscle (or you won’t be able to get rid of cellulite… you’ll just become “skinny fat”).

To Your Happiness,

Kenney

In this How To Get Rid Of Cellulite series we’ve covered a lot so far.

In the last two post we covered what causes cellulite and the simple answer if you didn’t read that post is FAT.

…And we also answered the question, what is fat. These were critical questions you must know the answer to for the rest of these post to make much sense.

In this post we are going to talk about burning fat. Or in other words, how to get rid of fat.

Why?

Because fat is the cause of cellulite.

Fat is the storage of excess energy over time. It’s the way that the body stores excess energy.

Now we can’t control where we store it, but we can control how much there is to store. The less fat there is to store the less cellulite you will have.

How To Get Rid Of Fat

1. Don’t consistently have “excess energy” at the end of the day.
2. Create a consistent daily calorie deficit.
2. Maintain and build lean muscle mass. (NOT bulky, but a sexy… slender look)
3. Starvation only hurts and does not help.
4. Eat 3 meals and 2 snacks. Drink at least 8 cups of water everyday.
(You must eat some type of breakfast.)
5. Don’t eat a meal within 2 hours of bedtime. You can have a snack. (Fruit)
6. Test and track your results. Measure. If it’s working then stick with it. If not then make adjustments.

Those are the 6 key points in getting rid of fat… therefore getting rid of cellulite. If you do this you will get rid of your excess energy (FAT).

To Your Happiness,

Kenney

P.S. In this series of post you’ll discover that’s there is hope in getting rid of cellulite. And when you’re ready you can check out our full system called “Do This To Get Rid Of Cellulite”…

So, in the first part of this how to get rid of cellulite series we set the stage for how frustrating and embarrassing having cellulite can be.

In the last post we introduced who this series of get rid of cellulite post is for and we introduced what cellulite really is.

In this post we are going to continue with what is cellulite.

Cellulite is the dimples, the “cottage cheese”, the orange peel that we see when looking at the surface of the skin of someone who has cellulite.

This appearance of cellulite is caused by the fat underneath the skin being pushed up which causes the ripple effect.

The skin has connective tissues that hold it onto your body. As you accumulate “excess fat” it is stored in your fat reserves (trouble areas) and in between these connective tissues. As the excess fat continues to be stored there the more it pushes up underneath the skin causing the phenom we call cellulite.

The more excess fat you have the more cellulite you will have.

Reduce fat and you reduce cellulite and eventually get rid of cellulite all together… but not without also building lean muscle.

I hope you caught the key there.

Cellulite is the appearance of excess fat being pushed up underneath the skin. So, if you get this then you know that your war is not necessarily against cellulite, but against fat.

In the next post we will discuss more about the causes of cellulite and excess fat.

See, there is an amount of fat that you need for proper body functions like protection of organs, and protection of joints, and for absorption of nutrients just to name a few.

The fat over and above the amount you have to have is excess. Now if you just have a few percent over and above that then you won’t have a problem with cellulite, it’s when you have very little lean muscle and a high body fat percentage that cellulite rears it’s ugly head.

In this series of post you’ll discover that’s there is hope in getting rid of cellulite. And when you’re ready you can check out our full system called “Do This To Get Rid Of Cellulite”…

In the last post in this series about how to get rid of cellulite we answered the question what is cellulite.

I also discussed why it is critical to really understand what cellulite is so that you know what you are fighting.

If you don’t know what you’re fighting you’re bound to fail.

So, to cut right to the chase I explained to you that cellulite is the appearance of excess fat. Basically that cellulite is fat.

Which also answers the question that we are asked a lot “what causes cellulite?”.

Actually this is probably my favorite question to answer because that tells me that this person is actually trying to figure the root cause of cellulite. That they are really on a mission to figure out how to defeat cellulite.

I like it.

What causes cellulite?

As I said above, cellulite is caused by fat… but not just any kind of fat, it’s caused by “excess fat”. This is the main reason why you see that over 90% of all cases of cellulite are in women.

See, women naturally carry more fat than men (along with minimal lean muscle), mainly for health purposes when having babies and because when joined together with man they compliment each other well.

She provides that loving soft caress that makes him melt and he provides that strong, safe, and secure feeling she so desires They need each other

Because women start off naturally carrying more fat than men, they are more prone to having excess fat which in many cases shows up as cellulite. And the reason you see cellulite mainly on your thighs, behind the leg, and butt is because this is were your body naturally stores excess fat. It’s what we call the fat reserves.

You can’t do anything to change the way your body stores excess fat, or were it stores it, but you can get rid of excess fat, and thus get rid of cellulite… and you can build lean muscle.

In the next post you will learn what fat is, and what causes it.

To Your Happiness,

Kenney

As we talked about in part 1 of this series about how to get rid of cellulite…

…it’s embarrassing and constantly has you thinking and worrying about how you look and how others perceive you too.

It robs you of good times by making you feel insecure and unhappy about the way you look, when you should be enjoying those times. Those times should be the best.

So, in this part of the series we wanted to talk more about what cellulite is.

What Is Cellulite?

See, if we don’t know what we are fighting how can we wage a successful war against it.

And you do want to be successful right?

I guess I should have started this section by asking do you REALLY want to get rid of cellulite?

If you answered is yes, then read on, if you’re not motivated or are unsure then go a squeeze your butt cheeks together and look at them in the mirror…

…or take your thigh and pinch about 3 inches of it together, or go look at the back of your leg in the mirror while wearing a bathing suit and if that doesn’t get you motivated then don’t read any further. This is not for you.

This message is for those who really want to get rid of cellulite. This message is for those who really want to not just know how to get rid of cellulite, but will actually take the simple, practical, and necessary steps to get rid of it for good.

Otherwise you’re just wasting your time.

Drum roll please…

Cellulite is FAT!

Dang, Kenney, I didn’t think you’d go right into it like that. Hey, I just wanted to cut to the chase. This may or may not seem like a epiphany, but if you really understand this, then you’ll know before you get started on any cellulite program whether or not it will work.

How?

Because if the program address the real cause of cellulite (FAT) then it will work, if it doesn’t then it won’t.

In the next post about how to get rid of cellulite, I will talk more in detail about this Fat (Cellulite) phenomenon and clear the air about it.

In this series of post you’ll discover that’s there is hope in getting rid of cellulite. And when you’re ready you can check out our full system called “Do This To Get Rid Of Cellulite”…
